Haiku, in part, is about speaking volumes through sparse words. What a perfect type of poetry to keep in your pocket! These poems are pulled, like polaroids, from everyday surroundings. These are little poems on little moments that say a lot by saying little. Abandoning the restrictions placed on Haiku by people who speak English (rather than Japanese), SLiC has written poems that he believes are more truly expressing the art of Haikkai than a 5,7,5er.
